VE Day

Hello everyone.

Victory in Europe Day (VE Day) was 8th May 1945.  It was when Nazi Germany surrendered and was the end of WW2 in Europe.

This year is the 75th anniversary of this date.

To remember this significant period of history we have put together some materials to help you learn about this important day.  Please use your class Twitter page or reply to this post if you have any issues or would like to share some of your own learning.

Learning Grid – 5/5/20

Hello everyone!

I’ve attached the Learning Grid for this week below.  You’ll notice it is shorter than previous weeks.  This is for 2 reasons.  Firstly, this was a short week for pupils in school – Monday was a staff in-service and Friday is a holiday.  Secondly, parents and carers have stated that the grids have been too long and challenging to complete.  I hope this will help with any problems.  Please continue to communicate with the school via e-mail, Twitter or by replying to this blog post.  Your feedback is key to us moving forward.

Thank you,

Mr. Madine
