We have been looking at different types of poetry. Yesterday we created Kennings. We were to describe ourselves. We tried to use nouns and verbs. Can you guess who each poem is about?

Hi, it’s Kaiden. We are learning about being vegetarianism in health and well being and the water cycle in topic . We are thinking about what was a vegetarian and found out they don’t eat meat or fish.

This document shows the primary 5 teaching and learning plans for the term ahead, September- December. Please look over this together and use this to support discussion at home. We will provide the next termly update in January.

Linked above is a suggestion grid for home learning activities to support learning from throughout this week.

Home learning suggestions to consolidate lessons throughout the week will now be posted on the class blog at the end of each week. We would like to minimise any worksheets or jotters going back and forward so it is encouraged that tasks are completed from the blog at home with adult support. If you feel that there is something that you would like support with or to share then this can be brought in and will be quarantined before it is looked at.

We are still awaiting the return of plastic homework folders that were taken home during lockdown. We currently have 3/21 folders returned to P5. These are the folders that pupils used throughout P4 and are a teal colour. Please could you have a search at home and bring these in as soon as you can. Thank you!
