Amazing fruit market gallery

We had a fantastic time looking at Daniel Silver’s exhibition and trying our hand at creating clay heads.

It was challenging to create faces without looking and even blindfolded…

We can hardly believe that our work will actually be on

PUBLIC DISPLAY

at the fruit market gallery –

STEM workshop in P6 classroom – 8th and 22nd September

Autumn Scavenger hunt to Holyrood Park with our P1 buddies on 13th September

August highlights in P6

What a nice start to the school year – please take a look at some of the things we have been up to so far…

We started Mental Agility and the red section of the rainbow – counting forwards and backwards

We also started working on algebraic thinking and growing patterns of equal steps

Some fun in our new classroom

How does the Victorian era fit in the British timeline? …

Busy revising high frequency words and collaborative spelling fun

JAKE loved helping keeping our school nice and tidy and was super keen to do some weeding

We are very excited about our first outing in P6 –

On Monday 29th August we are off to the fruit market Gallery to see this amazing exhibition and try our own hand at clay!

We look forward to welcoming you in our classroom on Thursday, 1st September at 2.30pm! 🙂

Welcome!

to P6! It is so exciting to teach you again this year! 🙂

I am also looking forward to getting to know pupils that joined since P3.

Please keep checking our blog for regular updates, such as trips planned and photos of day to day learning.

It would be very helpful for all pupils to remember to bring in water and snack daily and keep a PE kit and indoor shoes at school.
