Primary 4 Blog

Welcome to Primary 5!

Hello Primary 4!

My name is Mrs Harrison and you may recognise me from the Art Gallery videos.

I am delighted to tell you that I will be your class teacher next year!

I am really looking forward to meeting you all in person and getting to know you as a class.

I am also excited to think about all the wonderful learning opportunities we can explore together.

Some of you may have spotted that I am standing in what is normally the Primary 3 classroom. That is because we will be moving into that room, as we are the bigger class. (Don’t worry, we will have bigger chairs and tables in August!)

I am looking forward to finding out more about you on Thursday! Have a wonderful week!

Mrs Harrison

Learning Outdoors in P4

In P4 this week, all groups visited Holyrood Park to practise skills in exchanging in addition and subtraction. We used sticks for tens and sycamore seeds or buttercups as ones. We played games to practise working as a team and listening skills.

Assembly 18th June – Celebrate!!

Good Morning! So I thought we would celebrate the last House Card Winners of this school year 2020 – 2021 on FANTASTIC FRIDAY!

These names might be the winners this week but let’s remember that every week we have celebrated achievements at Royal Mile Primary School – Well done to everyone who has stayed on green, earned housepoints and received stickers and postcards. Well done to the JASS AWARD winners, whether they have achieved a full award or a just one part (you can finish next year) Well done all of us – through all the changes and challenges of this school year we have remembered to look after ourselves and each other.

Next week we will be celebrating and sharing our special memories from this year! What a year it has been – and we should all feel really, really proud of ourselves and each other!

So to get us started here are the House Card Winners https://youtu.be/cwKcXEJohG8
