Friday 19th Red Nose Day
The Pupil Council met today to finalise their plans for Friday!
Their aim is to make everyone feel cheerful and have a giggle – and raise some money for a good cause!
We have a ‘Design a Funny Superhero’ competition. Entries should be in by FRIDAY 9am and the Pupil Council will pick a winner from every class! You can draw or take a photo of yourself making a funny face (check with an adult before you use apps with filters) and send it to us by email admin@royalmile.edin.sch.uk. Look out as well for each classes TOP TEN funniest jokes!
A donation of £1 is suggested and can be handed to your Pupil Councillor on Friday but most importantly – let’s giggle together!
P2 Homework 15th March
General homework for 15th March 2021
Literacy – Look in your child’s homework jotter for their spelling homework this week. There is a task for their tricky words and for our sounds pattern this week – we look back at ‘magic e’ this week.
Maths – There is a worksheet in your child’s homework this week about when we usually do certain routines. Again, please have a discussion about this and think about the time word answers (such as morning or specific times as appropriate.)
Reading – Reading books will go home this week on Thursday to return next week on Monday. Reading books will not go out where a book has not been returned.
