Home Learning Grid for Language Class 2

Dear Language Class 2,

I have created a learning grid for you to work on this week. In there you will find different fun activities and tasks. You can do them in whatever order you like.

Keep your completed work or take photos of it. You could also ask an adult to take a photo of you while you do some of the activities.

If you have any questions or you are confused about any of the activities you can send an email to the school’s admin email address (you can find this on your learning grid) or comment on this blog.

Take good care of yourselves.

LC1 – Home learning grids

Dear LC1 boys,

For the next two weeks you will be learning from home. I have prepared a learning grid for each one of you. In there, you will find different fun activities and tasks. Complete them in your own pace and order.

Keep your completed work or take photos of it. You can also ask and adult to take a photo of you when you work on one of the tasks.

If you have any questions or you are confused about any of the activities you can send an email to school. You will find the school’s admin email address on your learning grid. I will be available and happy to support you in your learning and to answer your questions.

I will be posting more examples and ideas of fun activities so please visit our blog regularly.

I understand that this situation is difficult but try to stay calm and happy, and if you feel sad or bored, you can contact me using school’s email 😊

Dear boys, most of all please keep healthy and stay safe!

Missing you already!

Mrs Machowiak

Happy World Book Day 2020

We all celebrated World Book Day together on Thursday 5th March 2020.

We borrowed books from the Book Box.

We wrapped up our books so they couldn’t be judged by their cover and wrote a recommendation on the front so someone else could enjoy them.

The whole school participated in a book swap. We read the recommendations on the cover to help us decide on our new reading book.

We had an assembly with Mrs Jessop about the importance of bedtime stories. Then each of us had an exciting visit from a teacher in the school who read a bedtime story to us. We even had some delicious hot chocolate!

We are also all visiting Central Library Children’s library on George IV Bridge with our class. Some of us have been this week and some of us have visits planned over the next couple of weeks. We will be receiving our new library cards and taking part in an exciting session with the librarian.

P.S.

If you took part in our homework reading challenge you can still hand it to your teacher for your chance to win a prize.

Remember that you can donate any books that you are finished with to our school Book Box.
