Our wonderful Prize Winners and House Captains! Well done to:

Ahnaf- Winner of the Mary Whitfield Citizenship Prize. Ahnaf is always kind, helpful, hard-working and responsible, setting a wonderful example in Primary 7 and throughout the school. 

Kanyarat-Winner of the Resilience Prize. Kanyarat has demonstrated focus, hard work and dedication to all her work this year. 

Lewis-Winner of the Kindness Prize. Lewis is always kind, thoughtful and considerate of others.

I wanted to take a last opportunity to say ‘THANK YOU ‘

Thankyou to the people I have worked with during my career and the young people in schools across Britain and the world who have let me be part of their story. They have been my teachers, mentors and friends……… and made me a better teacher and a better human being.

Royal MIle has been a big part of my life for almost 13 years – definitely lucky for me!

A big thank you goes to the wonderful staff, past and present, who have always given 100% and gone over and above for the children of Royal Mile Primary School. To the families and friends of Royal Mile who have been so supportive and so open to trying new things and joining in with everything!

However… the biggest thank you goes to the amazing young people, the phenomenal Royal Milers. You have all been fantastic and I look forward to hearing, reading about and watching you all achieve amazing things in the future.

I feel a little bit jealous of Mrs Henry as she joins Royal Mile as your new Head Teacher. She is SO LUCKY to join the best school ever!
