P5 Homework and News

We had a busy week in P5 and have made a start in groups on our Ancient Egyptian Stop Motion stories. We hope to have them finished this week so that we can create the props and scenery for the filming.

Homework is attached for this week below, there are two challenges to try, pick which challenge best suits the book you are reading. We will be visiting the library on Monday to change the books but you must have the book with you. Homework for this week should be returned completed next Monday.

In maths we are looking at times tables and I would be grateful if you could encourage your child to practice them at home. We are reviewing the 3, 4, 5 times tables and starting to look more closely at the links they have to 6, 8 and 10 times tables.

P5 Homework w/b 21st November

What a lovely time I had last week sharing the reading homework with my class. The bookmarks were creative, some of the class had made their own little books and others had made reading dens at home. We had a great fun Scottish Book Week and it finished with Mrs Johnstone reading a story to the class on Friday when Mrs Leslie went to read to Primary 7. Lets keep reading in Royal Mile Primary!

We are returning to the homework sheets this week and we will be swapping our books in the library. Please remind your child to bring their book back to school so that they can exchange for another one in the library. Unless your child returns their book we cannot issue another one. Homework should be returned to school the following Monday.
