What a great week we had last week! Primary 5 have been rehearsing their song for the end of term, we are singing Rockin Around the Christmas Tree and here is the version that we are using to rehearse if you would like to learn it at home.
We are continuing to write our scripts for our Ancient Egyptian Stop Motion Animations in our groups and will this week start to make the props and scenery for the filming.
On Friday we had a morning of problem solving and puzzle making – working with partners to solve and make the puzzles that were in our Activity cupboard. It was great to see everyone working together to solve problems and help each other finds missing pieces. This will make working together on our Stop Motion Animations a lot easier as we have to solve problems, compromise and discuss what to do next.
As we are on the run up to the end of term and the festive period I thought that a festive reading challenge would be fun to do. The First Minister’s Challenge in conjunction with Scottish Book Trust has created a festive reading calendar challenge which starts on Monday 5th December. I have downloaded a copy of the challenge and created links and resources to support the homework. Please let me know if you cannot find the author challenge videos but please note that they are released on the date on the activity.
