HERE ARE SOME TOP TIPS FROM Primary 7…

ENJOY YOURSELF &

At the start of the month, P5 went on a fantastic trip to the Georgian House. We learnt about how the family and the servants lived, examined artefacts and explored the beautiful Georgian House at No. 7 Charlotte Square. We also got to dress up!

This week, we have been having a Halloween themed week, working on our describing words to write the start of a spooky story, solving a maths mystery and decorating our own munchkin pumpkins!

Dear Primary 5 families,
As you know, we are going to the Georgian House today, so as we would then have only 3 days to practise our spelling patterns, we shall only have numeracy homework this week. This you can find on Education City as usual, with a focus on the times tables we have revised far: 2, 3, 4, 5. Please also take some time to practise the tables verbally throughout the week.
Any device or internet issues, please just let me know.
I hope you all have a lovely week.
Kind regards,
Mrs Harrison
Dear Primary 5 families,
I hope you all had a lovely weekend. The homework for this week will follow a similar format as last week. There are 6 activities assigned to you on Education City for numeracy (please look out for your login details which were sent home in letters).
For spelling this week, our words follow our new pattern of wh.
whale
what
when
where
which
whisper
whistle
white
who
why
Please have a go at the active spelling task outlined below to practise at home (you can jump instead if you wish!).
Hop on one foot as you spell words, this is a great exercise in balance.
I hope you all have a lovely week.
Kind regards,
Mrs Harrison
