Dear Primary 5 families,
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
To help support all learners, there will be differentiation in the spelling lists going forward. This week the patterns are: Soft c or ch.
Soft C: There are 10 spelling words to practise, however if your child already knows several, they can choose to practise the three challenge words in place of 3 they already know.
Ch: There are 10 spelling words to practise and 3 Common Words. These will change each week. There are 4 spelling tasks on the page, please choose one to complete on either the blank paper or in the homework jotter.
The numeracy homework this week is linked to our times tables work. We have practised 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6 times tables and this week we are focusing on the 7 times tables. There is a main task and a challenge option included in the homework. Verbal practise would greatly support our learning in this as well.
