We planted our radish seeds on Tuesday afternoon.
We have also been writing instructions for how to do this as part of literacy.
As part of our maths we wanted to know how people told the time in the past. We were very interested about how sundials work and decided to make our own. We tracked the sunshine and shadows throughout the day as many times as we could.
To enhance our classroom learning for ‘shape, position and movement’ in maths, we practised using compasses to direct our partners. We used chalk letters around the playground and had to direct our partner through certain letters to spell a word. We found that it was much more challenging to use a compass and give directions outdoors as we were constantly turning.

Today your child has been given a yellow sheet for homework. This is to stay in their jotter all term. If the sheet is lost, there is a copy attached below available to download.
