Hello everyone,

This week our spelling pattern is -igh.

Our spelling words this week are:

high, bright, brighten, fight, frighten, light, lighten, might, night, right, sight, slight, tight, tonight.

In class we also thought of these words:

knight, nightmare, midnight, height

Can you think of any more words that contain this sound?

Your maths homework is to solve these word problems, focussing on multiplying and dividing by 10 and 100.

This week in spelling we are looking at verb endings, s or es.

When adding s / es to verbs the same rules apply as with plurals.

Most of the time you add s.

If a word ends with s, ss, zz, x, ch or sh then we add es.
