Primary 4 Homework WB 3.6.24

Hello everyone,

This week the spelling pattern we are focussing on is double consonants in the middle of words. Our spelling words are: address, better, butter, button, collect, common, daddy, dinner, hammer, happy, ladder, letter, lolly, lorry, mummy, puppet, puppy, rabbit, rubber, sudden, summer, supper.

In class we thought of some more words that have this pattern, such as: kitten, litter, hitting, swimming, killing, rotten, filling, little

Can you think of any more?

Please practise your spelling words using the activities at this QR code :

You have a maths activity in your homework jotter already, practising sorting numbers into venn diagrams.

Good luck!

Sports Day

This week, pupils have been filling in a questionnaire to share their thoughts about sports day.
Pupils were invited to suggest new activities and share feedback.
Some pupils were concerned that only ‘sporty people’ win. Remember – staff also award points and certificates for effort, resilience and team spirit!

Pupils also rated each activity from 1-5.

Below are the scores and show how we have selected this year’s activities.

See you all on the 14th June for a fun day of sports!
