Primary 4 have been learning about lots of celebrations from different faiths. Today we were lucky enough to visit Old St Paul’s Church and look at some of the advent customs and to hear about what the Christmas celebrations will look like. We especially enjoyed the treasure hunt finding some of the Christian symbols we had learnt about in class. Thank you so much to Father John for inviting us to see your beautiful church! 😊

We will each be sharing about our own special celebrations in the new year but if anyone in our school community has further links to contacts who can support in our learning please do let us know.
Some beautiful Christmas cards are ready to send our best wishes to those we love…
Tomorrow (Tuesday) is a busy day for Primary 4. In the morning we are out for a visit to see the preparations for Christmas at a local church. Children will need to be wearing practical clothes for a walk. The afternoon is our Christmas Party. If children would like to wear party clothes this is fine but they can also bring them and change at lunchtime for their party if this is preferred. 🎄
We have recorded this little tune for everyone before our last week of school in 2021… keep your eyes peeled for another before the holidays on Friday!!
