Last week of term

Good Morning

Cant believe we are here at the last week of term. I want to say a  huge thank you to all of you .Children and parents who have adapted to a new way of life  this term and coped so well with all the changes we have faced. We might all have been doing things differently but  have all got through these last weeks and hopefully still smiling.

This week we are focussing on a fun last week of term and  class teachers have lots of fun activities on their grids.

I hope you join in as many activities as you can.

Welcome to Primary 6

To all current Primary Five children and families,

I hope you are all doing well and have been able to stay in contact with each other over the lock down period. I am pleased to tell you that I will be your primary six teacher next year.

Although there are still many unknowns and questions about next year for children, parents and staff we will all work to make sure that next year is as normal as possible and children and families are well supported.

Mr McPheely

The classroom is looking a little different at the moment with the desks spaced two metres apart and the walls bare. But we can soon make it feel a little more warm and welcoming.

The grid for this week is all based on transition and moving on to primary six. It would be great to hear from as many of you as possible. You can email me at admin@royalmile.edin.sch.uk with the subject ‘FAO Mr McPheely’. I have attached the grid and all other resources needed below. There is also a social story to help explain coming back to school too.

Hopefully I will hear from many of you over the next week. If not have a fantastic summer and I am looking forward to welcome you back in August!

All the best!

Mr McPheely
