Eco Award Winner

I would like to say a huge thank you to CJ, this year’s Eco Award winner.

CJ has put in so much work into the Eco Group this year. He has had lots of fantastic ideas about how we can make the school more environmentally friendly and has continued to work hard even when the school has been shut.

All of the staff, myself and I am sure the rest of the Eco Group would like to wish him all the best for high school and hope he continues the good work at his new school!

Final Wow Wednesday of Primary 6

To All Primary 6 Children and Families,

This will the the final Wow Wednesday post of this year. I wanted to start by saying a massive thank you to all of you, children and families, who have worked through such an unprecedented and unexpected this year. Your resilience, patience and understanding has been incredible and humbling. Thank you to all the children who have been continuing your learning at home and have taken the opportunity to learn in new and interesting ways. Some of the projects that you have taken on have been incredible. I also want to say a huge thank you to all of the adults at home who have supported your children with their learning, many of you while juggling your own work commitments.

It has been great to speak to all of you at some point during the school closure time, either on the phone or out and about. It has been fantastic hearing what you have been up to.

I have included examples of just some of the fantastic work which was sent in for this final post. But I have also included some of the highlights of this year, from our VR tour of the Old Town with the Fruitmarket Gallery to the Risk Factory trip, we have done so much this year. I hope the pictures will bring a smile to your faces, it did mine when I was putting them together.

For many of you this is my second year teaching you and I would like to say how much I have enjoyed teaching and getting to know all of you (children and families). I have missed all of you and although next year I won’t be your class teacher I am looking forward to seeing all of you back.

Have a fantastic summer!

Wow Wednesday in Primary 7

Primary 7 I have been so impressed with your participation during this summer term. It has been lovely to see what you have done online, hear from you through TEAMS or via email and generally keep in touch.

I thought it would be nice to celebrate your individuality, which is why I have posted your photos from the Transition task. Thank you Laura, Beda, Emre and Naeema!

I was really impressed with your Zoo in 2 task Oli and Naeema!

I’ve included some of my favourite creations and projects over the year! What a talented bunch!

Well done to you all! I am looking forward to seeing you tomorrow!
