Summer Holiday Time!

We have finally reached the end of a very strange term and we are missing you all so much. We can’t wait to see you after the holidays. For today and into the holidays we have read some of our favourite stories for you and will add more during the holidays too – we hope you enjoy them! Remember there are lots of great stories available from youtube but also as ebooks from the Edinburgh libraries website.

A very big thank you to the parents who have worked hard to keep learning going over this time and we wish all the boys and girls who are moving to Primary 1 lots of luck – you are all superstars! Mrs Peoples also starts her maternity leave today but looks forward to coming in to see you all once it is safe again very soon!

Please have a safe and happy summer break,

Mrs Peoples and the Early Years Team 😃

Thursday’s Activities

Hi all,

We hope you enjoyed our special farewell video yesterday. Please keep your special words to describe you coming in so we can complete our word art for next term!

Today’s tasks are all about moving forward, more information will be coming out to parents as soon as we know more but have a think about what nursery may be like in August. This video may help – Coming Back to School in a Bubble.

Also today we have a set of tasks that you may want to use linked to the story ZOG by Julia Donaldson. This is a great story about a special dragon at dragon school and you can use these activities all over the summer holidays too! You can watch the story here – ZOG on BBC iplayer.
