Fantastic Friday!

It’s Fantastic Friday again, where we showcase the excellent work and play taking place at home and in the nursery! This week we were reading Goldilocks and the three bears. Oskar had a very busy week, he did some brilliant writing, creatively turned his breakfast into a face, went out on some fun adventures in the cold, used recycling to create artwork and did a great job sorting his toys by size! Leo baked some delicious cupcakes for his cafe, had lots of fun splashing in puddles and looking at colourful street art on a walk and has been working hard doing lots of puzzles! Rievah has been reading our focus book and looks great dressed up as Goldilocks, she had lots of fun experimenting in a jelly bath, made some lovely colourful creations with playdough and went on an exciting adventure to a woodland playpark! Ava has been hard at work on our home learning activities; she has been reading the story and drew a beautiful picture of goldilocks and the three bears, she went on a walk to collect lots of sticks and stones and did an excellent job sorting them by size, she has been doing lots of baking and this week she made some amazing bear cookies and she has been keeping active with some Frozen yoga! Georgie-lee has been doing some brilliant writing, braved the cold for a walk and found a snowman! David drew a super picture of a police car and has been doing some amazing writing! Great work everyone!

Thank you all so much for continuing to post pictures of the wonderful work and play being done at home! Please keep posting more pictures to the Learning Journals and don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need any help!

In the nursery we have been reading and discussing Goldilocks and the three bears. We made some tasty porridge for snack and had some interesting discussions about how it’s made and what it tastes like. We also made and decorated some yummy bear biscuits. We have been keeping active by going for walks around the neighbourhood and even made it all the way up to the castle!

Friday 5th February in LCC1

Hello, it’s Friday!! 😀

It is a double happiness today: it is a half day and it is the last day before February break!!!

Today is important for one more reason. It is a Screen-Free Day which means spending a day without looking at phone, playing on iPad, using computer, watching TV etc.

Does it sound easy? Hmm, I don’t think so but we all can try and do our best to have a screen-free day. There is loads of things you can do instead!

Have a look at the activities below:

Here is your timetable and some activities for today. It is JASS day and a great opportunity to spend your day away from the screen.

Good luck 🙂

I hope you all have a wonderful break!
