Building Resilience is an Edinburgh schools programme which helps children to develop their emotional wellbeing.

Please enjoy these photos from Primary 2’s trip to the zoo. The pupils were incredibly respectful, responsible and curious, and really made our school proud. Plus, we all had a lot of fun!

Thank you for all of your support this year, and last. Wishing you all a wonderful summer break!
Here is a little quote from A.A.Milne that helps me with farewells!

Pupils should bring their water bottle, snack and coat with them.

If the weather is hot – a sun hat or cap is recommended. Pupils are responsible for their own belongings. Please be aware they bring items from home at their own risk. Sun cream can be applied before school and pupils can apply sun cream to themselves however this must not contain nut or almond oil due to nut allergies.

Pupils compete as part of a house group and are welcome to wear a top the colour of their team – see below.

We understand this year has been much more challenging with the change of date, however if you are unable to attend, please talk with your child as this very much supports emotional regulation on the day. Please can I implore you to say goodbye to them when/if you need to leave.

Family – wear your sports gear! The Adult/Child 3-legged race is back. This can be any grown up family member and child. We hope you have been practising!
