P1 Christmas Show

Dear Families,

On Monday, Primary 1 will begin learning about, practising, and performing a musical play called The Sleepy Shepherd. The performance to families will be in the afternoon of Wednesday 10th December, at school.

We treasure the diversity of our school and understand that some families have strong connections to their faith.

I have uploaded the full script including song lyrics below.

If you have any queries at all, please share your thoughts and feelings with me so we can work in partnership to make this a successful performance for the pupils.

If you know of any reason your child will be absent on this day e.g. holiday, planned leave, please let me know! With our class being relatively small, everyone’s role will be key to the success of the show.

All costumes will be provided by the school as this is part of the pupil’s academic learning.

Warm wishes,

Miss Copeland

Preparing for school

Thank you for looking at our website! We are glad to have you here.

Some pupils may find the document below helpful. It shows photos of the school and the Primary 1 staff.

We return to school on Wednesday 13th August.

You may find using the visual calendar below helpful, to support the return to school this coming week.

Naming personal items

Your child is responsible for their own personal items.

We will always try our best to return items at the end of the day however when 28 children have red jumpers the easiest and fastest way to get your personal items back is if they are named.

Sticky labels, sewn on labels or the long standing permanent marker or biro pen – they all help!

We implore you to spend 5 minutes and write their name on those labels.
