This term will very busy with the further progression on our Social Enterprise Project, watch out for news from The Royal Mile Planters of their pop up launch event near the end of term. We have been busy starting to plant our basic soup vegetables and we will be moving to start planting at the front of the school this term. The class will also be undertaking their chosen topic for this term looking at Japan, its culture, environment, clothing, food, art and comparing life in Japan to that in Scotland.
This term home learning will include spelling, reading comprehension and maths. In spelling the pattern/words will be sent home with a mild, spicy and hot challenge, pick one of the challenges or try more than one to practice the pattern or words that are being taught to your spelling group. The challenge should be returned on Friday along with the other pieces of home learning that will be issued on Monday. Please remember to support your child and do not feel that all the challenges should be completed. Discussion and self -correction of home learning will take place on Friday.
