Welcome to our Health Week!
We had a lot of activities on this week, including a visit to the Crags Centre to try shinty, Yoga, some art activities and even a visitor sharing some information and skills about triathalons. Please bear with us as we will upload photos of some of what we have been up to this week later.
In our numeracy work this week, we continue to work on some addition and subtraction skills this week. Primary 2 enjoyed choosing their level of difficulty on this game.
In literacy, we have been looking at the ‘ow’ sound (as in ‘brown’) and we enjoyed figuring out the spelling in this anagram game as well as this spelling game on galactic phonics. We continue to work through our Read, Write, Inc. programme and have been working hard on our writing skills, including correcting errors in sentences and build up our own.
