P3 Homework 18th Jan 2022

Hello everyone! Yesterday P3 brought home the “Homework Bag”:

* The Reading Books should be brought to school everyday. On the following Monday, the books will stay at school so we can change them by new ones for Tuesday.
* The Spelling Activities sheet will stay with them for the rest of the year, so they should keep it in the homework bag unless they are using it, to avoid misplacing it.
* I would like them to bring their completed homework back to school before or on the following Monday.
**Please try to remind them to bring their homework bags on Tuesday so they can get the new pack home. Thanks!

There are three pieces of homework for this week:
Reading – new book, and activities to practice vocabulary and/or develop their comprehension skills. We have a shortage on some of the books, so they might need to share them. If they did not bring a book home today, they will bring it on Thursday.
Spelling – this week we will be working again with the sounds “ay” and “ee” and last week’s words. They can exercise their spelling and handwriting by completing the activities sent home, and also by choosing and completing three (or more) activities from the Spelling Activities sheet (complete at the back of the sheet or another paper.
Numeracy – addition and subtraction practice on the first part. The second part focuses on telling the time: o’clock times. They need to try to find the nearest “o’clock” time for the different daily events.

They just need to complete the sheets sent home. If they cannot come to school during the week, and you would like them to complete these activities, please sent me an email (through school’s) and I will send you their activities.

You can find an electronic copy of the homework below. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me through the comments or by writing to the school email and they will forward it to me.

Have a great week!
Ms Sola
