We were really pleased to welcome so many people to our Information Evening.
The film made by our House Captains and Vice House Captains with Miss Finlayson was inspiring. The ideas that the children and staff across the school for updating our Vision, Values and Aims were very impressive.
Everyone who came had the chance to vote for the ones that they felt best described our and where we want to go next .
People voted and the results are in! We hope you will agree that these are ambitious and thoughtful, just like our school!
Watch out for them going up around the building.
To promote ambition, creativity and responsibility in a safe and happy environment; to create supportive, happy, healthy and collaborative lives for everyone in our community.
Be kind and gentle
Be friendly and welcoming
Everyone at Royal Mile Primary should feel happy and safe!
We also shared information about the new Relationships, Sexual Health and Parenting resources that are going to be used across Scotland. Parents will receive letters and information about these new resources as each class prepares to use them as well as look at them online. https://rshp.scot/
We also enjoyed amazing music from James Gillespie’s High School pupils Sorcha Thompson, an S4 student who will perform traditional music on Clarsach and Rosalind Orr who is in S5 on the saxophone.
All in all a busy and enjoyable evening!
