Dear Mums, Dads and Carers,
As this is the last term before the holidays and of Primary 1, I will be sending home a little bit more homework. This is to prepare us for Primary 2 and the extra work we might be asked to do there.
*Starting from Monday I will be sending a homework activity in our folders. It will alternate every week between a Literacy task and a Maths / Numeracy task.
Homework should be returned by Thursday.
It is optional but the tasks sent home are there to help revise learning that we are doing in class. It is a good habit to start too. Repetition and practise are key components to learning.
*New reading books will still be given out on a Tuesday.
A general overview of our reading in class is:
Tuesday = 1st ½ of the book
Wednesday = 2nd ½ of the book
Thursday = Questions to develop comprehension
If you have any questions please ask. Thank you for your continued support,
Mr. Madine
