A big congratulations to all the Primary 1 boys and girls. We made a total profit of £23.53 from our Snowman Biscuits. They all sold out in about 30 minutes up at the council offices at Waverly Court!
WELL DONE ON ALL THE HARD WORK P1!
Thank you again to all those who were able to make it along this afternoon. We had some fun reading “Eric Makes a Splash” and colouring some new swim shorts to make Eric feel brave. If you weren’t able to make it along don’t worry as every P1 has been given their Book Bug bag to take home.
As promised, I’ve attached the activities from the Scottish Book Trust website. Here is the link to get to the author read videos.
Book Bug activities and resources
Once again I’d like to say thank you very much for coming along. I know it makes the boys and girls very excited! (If there are any problems accessing the resources let me know.

Hello everyone,
We have been learning about patterns this week in our Maths. Click the link below to play a game that we played together in class. It has 3 levels. Level 3 is more challenging but some boys and girls might be able to manage it.

Hello everyone,
As of today, we have, as a class, taught all of our initial (Block 1) sounds. These will all be added to the sound rings. Practice will still be needed to ensure the sounds are learned and remembered fully.
In order to check that every child has each sound I am keeping the homework folders in class for day or two.
Well done to all the boys and girls on their learning of their Block 1 sounds.
Thank you,
Mr Madine
