Sports Day – Friday 21st June

Pupils should bring their water bottle, snack and coat with them.

If the weather is hot – a sun hat or cap is recommended. Pupils are responsible for their own belongings. Please be aware they bring items from home at their own risk. Sun cream can be applied before school and pupils can apply sun cream to themselves however this must not contain nut or almond oil due to nut allergies.

House Colours

Pupils compete as part of a house group and are welcome to wear a top the colour of their team – see below.

Family is welcome to attend. We encourage you to meet us at Holyrood Park at 10am* apologies, new time.

We understand this year has been much more challenging with the change of date, however if you are unable to attend, please talk with your child as this very much supports emotional regulation on the day. Please can I implore you to say goodbye to them when/if you need to leave.

Family 3-legged race!

Family – wear your sports gear! The Adult/Child 3-legged race is back. This can be any grown up family member and child. We hope you have been practising!

Sports Day

This week, pupils have been filling in a questionnaire to share their thoughts about sports day.
Pupils were invited to suggest new activities and share feedback.
Some pupils were concerned that only ‘sporty people’ win. Remember – staff also award points and certificates for effort, resilience and team spirit!

Pupils also rated each activity from 1-5.

Below are the scores and show how we have selected this year’s activities.

See you all on the 14th June for a fun day of sports!
