WOW WEDNESDAY!

There has been some super learning shared with us over the past 7 days – thank you all so much for sending in pictures! If you haven’t had a chance this week remember we will be sharing every Wednesday so keep your eyes open for some more challenges and send us in some pictures of you having fun at home.

First up today are two people who joined their big brother and sisters for school uniform day… well done Casper and Ragad for getting involved, those uniforms really suit you and we look forward to having you working hard in our P1 classes!

Ava and Mason have been busy this week too, sending us pictures of their work linked to Eric Carle’s story ‘The Very Busy Spider’. They have enjoyed making webs, making spiders and playing some games! Well done to both of you!

Also this week we have launched our transition topic linked to the Michael Rosen story ‘We Are Going On A Bear Hunt’ we have had many pictures of bears in windows sent in, a big thank you to all of the school and nursery staff who have helped too! The boys and girls have started their own bear hunts and some of the activities set for this week. A special well done to Alexander who sent us pictures of him doing the bear hunt yoga that was shared, we love Cosmic Kids Yoga in Nursery and are glad that you enjoyed this one at home – Well done Alexander!

Keep the great work coming in boys and girls, it is so lovely to see you all working so hard. We will be back next Wednesday with more of your super WOW work!

Tuesday’s Nursery Challenges

Some shorter tasks today as we would love it if all of the boys and girls from nursery could join us in our Bear Hunt tasks this week too! (see our earlier post). The Bear Hunt has been designed for the children moving to nursery and moving to Primary 1 this August but they are tasks that all the children will enjoy so do please take part!

We Are Going On A Bear Hunt!

Over the next 6 weeks we will be going on a Bear Hunt together. Every child in Edinburgh who is coming to nursery or P1 after the summer will be doing the same – join us!Logo

Meet Edinburgh Bear who will be joining us on our adventures over the coming weeks… This week he has created a series of tasks for us that can be found here.

This week share the story of ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ by Michael Rosen. If you have the book, read it together, or watch/listen online at https://bit.ly/EdiBearHunt.

Why not go on a yoga bear hunt with Cosmic Kids? https://bit.ly/EdiYogaBear. Tweet us a picture of your best bear hunt yoga pose @RMPSnursery and #BearHuntEdin!

Finally find a bear in your house to take part in our bear hunt. Put the bear in your window so others can see. When you go out for a walk go on your very own bear hunt to spot the bears in the windows! How many can you see? The Royal Mile Staff have started us off with their very own bear hunt too!
