Please have a look at term 2 parent overview to find out what we are going to be exploring during the next 3 months!
Happy New Year!
We hope you have all had a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year!
We had lot’s of fun at our Christmas party – Santa even managed to stop by which was very exciting. Thank you to all of the parents who joined us for present giving and singing.
We would also like to thank everyone who attended our trip to the Storytelling Centre and those who came along to support the launch of our new story sacks! We hope you have had fun and reading and playing with them at home. We would also like to thank the parents who helped us with the gardening and who attended our taster Baby Yoga class. Your support is much appreciated!
Finally, we would like to thank “Go Outdoors!” who very generously donated an assortment of jackets, wellies, hats, scarves and gloves to the nursery.

This month we are focusing on Winter, keeping ourselves warm and learning how to count on and back. We are getting very good at it!

We are looking forward to a funfilled 2018 and welcoming the new children who are starting with us over the next couple of weeks.
Winter Celebrations
Christmas has arrived in the nursery! The children have been very busy decorating Christmas trees, making decorations, doing lot’s of arts and crafts and are practising Christmas Carols in preperation for our party next week. We have also turned our brick corner into an ice rink, using tissue as snow and having lots of fun!
We have also been looking at road safety and keeping safe. We went out on a walk on the Royal Mile to count the different types of vehicles we could see and made a graph together to show what we saw.
We would like to invite all parents along to our Christmas Party to see some of our hard work and listen to our lovely singing at 11.30PM on Friday the 22nd. There may even be a special visitor!
It has been a very busy term and we hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! See you in 2018!
