We are back to homework after the holidays!

Please check your child’s jotter carefully this week regarding their spelling tasks.

Hello everyone,

As of today, we have, as a class, taught all of our initial (Block 1) sounds.  These will all be added to the sound rings.  Practice will still be needed to ensure the sounds are learned and remembered fully.

In order to check that every child has each sound I am keeping the homework folders in class for day or two.

Well done to all the boys and girls on their learning of their Block 1 sounds.

Hello everyone,

We have been exploring and investigating 2d shape in class.  We have been learning their names and the different properties of the shapes, i.e. a square has 4 sides of the same length and 4 corners.

We created Shape Monsters to demonstrate our learning.  We hope you like them. (And aren’t too scared!)
