The Colour Monster
We have been learning about emotions using the story The Colour Monster.
We learn that we can feel more than one emotion at one time, and that having all of these emotions is normal. We discuss why we might have these emotions and how we can share these in a safe way, and how we can help ourselves to feel better.
Sometimes little deals, can feel like big deals. We are learning about this though the Big Deal, Little Deal social story below.
Building Resilience
This term, our Building Resilience module is Expect the Unexpected. Ms Finlayson launched the theme at assembly. Here are the 3 main learning outcomes:
- Change is a part of life
- It’s OK not to be OK
- I have ways to look after my mental health
