Museum on the Mound

On Wednesday, Primary 1 visited the Museum on the Mound, AKA the money museum for an end of topic trip. We must say a huge thank you to the staff there who led such engaging activities. Primary 1 learnt about the different security details in bank notes and created their own with holographic stickers, embossing, UV writing, date stamps and their own bank name. They were able to strike their own coin using a template and hammer, and see lots of interesting artefacts such as safe keys, the watchman’s chair and tried to crack a safe. Well done to Primary 1 who walked up and down the Royal Mile very sensibly, despite how busy it was with tourists!
