A warm welcome back to everyone today!
P.E. – Thursday remains our main P.E. day and we will continue to have P.E. outdoors where we can. We will focus on outdoor learning on Fridays so please send children into school with appropriate clothing and footwear on both days, bearing in mind you may send in P.E. kits to stay in school.
Please do continue to return homework folders and jotters (and any school reading books etc.) back to school this week.
We are also going to start back with some homework this week.
General homework for 22nd February 2021
Literacy – For this week we will focus on some listening and talking work to ease back into our routine of homework. On Wednesday we will be looking at Authors and Legends. This would be a lovely opportunity to look for a favourite author or to explore some myths or legends. You might take this opportunity to explore some myths and legends from an area of Europe (our focus continent) or to share some that you already know yourself. For Wednesday, try to ensure your child has a favourite author or legend to share to the class.
Maths – The Number Classwork on Education City has several games to choose from to practise your number skills, choose no more than two to have a go at from those you have not yet tried or a game you want to do better at from before.
Reading – Reading books should go home next week once all homework folders are accounted for.
