Dear Primary 7

Dear Primary 7,

I hope you have had a great week and have been able to get outside to enjoy the lovely sunshine. I also hope that you got the chance to try some of the Health Week activities posted in the grid. Make sure you stay hydrated if you are doing anything active in the heat!

For those of you going to JGHS, the office and myself have emailed you a link to a clip to help you with transition. It’s fun to watch and it shows you the main buildings and introduces some of the teachers. If you are going to JGHS and haven’t seen it, I would recommend you take a look.

I will post the grid for Week 8 as usual on Monday. There is an environmental theme this week, which I hope you will enjoy.

As always, if you have any questions or anything to share, please do email it to:

me directly, share it on TEAMS or admin@royalmile.edin.sch.uk

For those of you not yet set up, please do read the code of conduct below and let the office know. They will send you your login details.

When you do get access, I shall send you an email and it would be lovely if you said hello on the posts in TEAMS. We are looking forward to hearing from you!

In other news, as it was Health Week this week, I didn’t bake but made Shakshuka. It’s very tasty and you can make it as spicy as you like it. Copper had been eating less healthily, he had one of his favourite treats, the end of an ice cream tub as you can see from the picture below. I also managed to find him a new dog shampoo, so he looks a bit fluffier than usual!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend and I look forward to hearing from you all soon.

Take care,

Miss Kerr
