Road Safety Week in Primary Six

This week in Primary Six we have been discussing how to stay safe on and around the road. We have discussed how it is important to always make sure you wear a helmet when biking or scooting and how we should make sure that you always use the crossings where possible.

Please have a look at some of the information films primary six have made.

Home Learning Week Commencing 23rd November

Hi Primary Six families,

I have uploaded the weekly summary grid with activities to consolidate learning at home. It would be fantastic to see examples of what you have been doing at home. These can be sent in with your child or emailed to admin@royalmile.edin.sch.uk.

I have included the skill section of the JASS project as part of the home learning for this week. We will be working on recording this in school but time will also need to be dedicated to this at home. Your child could learn a new skill or continue working on one they already have. It could be as simple as helping to prepare the family meals or creating a project on something they are interested in. This can be evidenced by a picture or even a note from someone at home.

All the best!

Mr McPheely

Road Safety Week

Hello, we are the Junior Road Safety Officers. We need your help! We are trying to spread awareness about cycle safety and wearing helmets.

We have created a class challenge for you to take part in. There are four parts, can you complete them all? This will be discussed at assembly on Thursday 19th November. You have one week to complete the tasks. We wonder who will win the prizes… Good luck!
