Primary 5 Home Learning Week Commencing 2nd December 2024
Primary 5’s Windy Afternoon Hike
Unfortunately due to the high winds P5 weren’t able to do their usual outdoor learning session, anything they made would have blown away!
But unperturbed we went for a hike around Arthurs Seat instead. Totalling just over 6km and just under 200m of elevation gained, we were all feeling quite tired afterwards!

‘The weather was kind of messed up, it was sunny, rainy and windy all at the same time. But it was worth it for the view, you could see almost all of the city from the top.’ Freddy
‘It was good but walking up the hill at the start was quite hard. Once it was flat and down hill afterwards it was a lot easier.’ Bryce
‘It was nice to be out in nature instead of in the classroom. At the Loch at the top we saw two swans on what looked like a raft.’ George
