Tomorrow (Tuesday) is a busy day for Primary 4. In the morning we are out for a visit to see the preparations for Christmas at a local church. Children will need to be wearing practical clothes for a walk. The afternoon is our Christmas Party. If children would like to wear party clothes this is fine but they can also bring them and change at lunchtime for their party if this is preferred. 🎄

We have recorded this little tune for everyone before our last week of school in 2021… keep your eyes peeled for another before the holidays on Friday!!

Primary 4 have had a wonderful chilly morning with a walk in our Christmas jumpers to see Frayah’s winning entry for the Edinburgh’s Nativity competition in St Andrew’s Square. We are so proud of Frayah and enjoyed a warming hot chocolate back in class to celebrate with her 😊

Remember our big homework is due in January! Dates for each child’s presentation will be sent home during the first week back after the New Year so the holidays will be a perfect opportunity to work on this if you haven’t already started!

Primary 4 this week started an advent maths challenge with lots of questions all about the number 24. Some are way beyond our first level but children have been rising to the challenge and Kamil went home to find out the answer to 24 divided by 1000 and now knows that it is 0.024 😊
