It’s Wednesday again already!

We have some very special shout outs today for three children who have been working really hard and have sent their work in to us. Mason, Reivah and Ava!

Mason and Ava were busy bear hunting and finding puddles, wavy grass, dark caves and mud…

Rievah and Ava have been very creative too, working on writing their name and making some lovely spiral pictures…

Ava also made yummy spiral wraps and it inspired me to do some baking of my own! Mr Peoples was very happy to help me eat up all these cinnamon buns!

Well done to you all and we look forward to sharing more of your work next week!

The snail in our story this week was very brave and took part in lots of adventures. Have a look at them here – Wednesday – Snail and the Whale – When you have counted the adventures why not go on one of your own? Those going to Primary 1 in August may want to go on an adventure to your new school or go and visit the nursery gate to check it is still there!

Today we have more spiral-shaped fun for you. We also have some questions about adding more and taking away, why not use some real life objects to make some questions of your own too?

Welcome to Monday! Last week we gave you the clue of some work about a snail, and here they are!

Our story today is Julia Donaldson’s Snail and the Whale which you can listen to here and also there is a brilliant video of the animated story on BBC iPlayer which you will find here.

Today’s activities are all about the spiral shapes on the snail’s shell, Monday – Snail and the Whale, have a look and send us your spiral pictures to our school email admin@royalmile.edin.sch.uk,, upload to your child’s learning journal or to our twitter @RMPSnursery.
