Happy Holidays!

Hello everyone.

Fingers crossed you are all keeping well and following the advice that we are being given.

Had things been normal we would be starting our Easter Holidays this week.  However, given the current situation I’ve attached a Holiday Grid to give you some activities and ideas over these 2 weeks.

A quick reminder that we have our own Twitter account – @rmpsp4.  You can use it to share your ideas and work that would be great.  @rmpsp4

I will be using it alongside this blog page.

Thank you,

Dear Primary 7

Dear Primary 7,

I hope that you have had a good week and that you and your families are safe and well at this time. We are now approaching the Easter Holidays, which will look quite different from how we may have planned them to be.

The second level team have planned a holiday grid  of fun activities if you choose to do them! This is your holiday and for you to enjoy how you can! This will be posted at the start of next week, so look out for it if you want some ideas!

My store cupboard baking was almost successful! The flapjacks taste good, but I added too many raisins, so they crumbled apart (I should have added more butter and golden syrup to bind the extra dry stuff added). The cookies were more of a success! The recipes are in the links below if you want to have a go yourself!

(remember you can add in or swop ingredients for what you have in your cupboard-any soft sugar will be fine for the cookies and you can swop golden syrup for honey or maple syrup in the flapjacks) You can also type what ingredients you have into bbc good food and it will give you suggestions of recipes.

I hope you have planned some nice activities to enjoy over the holidays. I plan to read some new books, walk Copper, revisit my ‘how to draw book’ (as you have all seen my attempts!), chat to friends online and try some cross stitch sewing. (I have a picture of a bee to try, will upload a photo after the holidays!).

Copper is still loving life but he is very sleepy these days! He usually sleeps when we’re out at work and now he is awake all day. Now he tends to fall asleep on the sofa by about 5pm!

I hope you are staying well, safe and being kind and patient with one another. I will be thinking of you all during the holidays and hoping that you are having a restful, enjoyable time.

Look after yourselves and take care!

Miss Kerr
