Reading Comprehension
Read Screen 8 of the eBook Blood. Read the extract about Colonel Blood and his encounter while trekking in the Amazon. Write an imaginative paragraph in the first person about a fictional experience with one of the creatures on Screen 8. Focus on using descriptive language, alliteration and try to make it exciting! If you are struggling with ideas, use the start support sheet below and continue the story of Colonel Blood.

P5 Road Safety Videos
This week we introduced the iMovie app in P5. We’ve been practising adding media and text to create mini projects. To use our new skills we have individually worked on some road safety videos to tie in with learning this week. Here are a couple that pupils were happy to have shared:

This week in Primary Six we have been discussing how to stay safe on and around the road. We have discussed how it is important to always make sure you wear a helmet when biking or scooting and how we should make sure that you always use the crossings where possible.
