Important Reminder…

Tomorrow (Tuesday) is a busy day for Primary 4. In the morning we are out for a visit to see the preparations for Christmas at a local church. Children will need to be wearing practical clothes for a walk. The afternoon is our Christmas Party. If children would like to wear party clothes this is fine but they can also bring them and change at lunchtime for their party if this is preferred. 🎄

Class Day Out!!!!

Primary 4 have had a wonderful chilly morning with a walk in our Christmas jumpers to see Frayah’s winning entry for the Edinburgh’s Nativity competition in St Andrew’s Square. We are so proud of Frayah and enjoyed a warming hot chocolate back in class to celebrate with her 😊

P2 – Week in Review

Shape continues to be our focus in Maths and we explored 3D objects this week. We explored the faces, edges and vertices of some 3D shapes, printed using then and went on a shape hunt in the playground! For literacy we explored igh and ow (as in snow) as part of our sounds and reading work. We wrote some stories we hope to share with you soon! In P.E. we have been building our ball skills through throwing, passing and bouncing this week, P2 enjoying taking shots at scoring through a basketball hoop!
This week Primary 2 returned to the Children’s Central Library with their P7 buddies to return their books and get out some new ones! We will look to continue our visits in the New Year.

A big well done and congratulations to our

Luara

for being a Responsible Citizen and trying to consistently make good choices, seek help when she needed it and being kind and helpful.

To send you off, P2 really liked this Numberjacks story!

Have a lovely weekend all!
