Home Learning P3/4 and News

What a great time we had at our Scots Assembly on Friday. Well done to the whole class for performing some of their poems, showing off their Scots art work and singing their Scots song.

This week is another busy week, Ms De La Cruz will be joining us in the classroom until March. In class, this week, we will focus on number processes in Maths with particular focus on our four operations. In our Rainbow Mental Maths we are moving to the orange band, number before and number after. In writing we will be starting recount using the information we have researched for our Scottish Inventors. We will continue the topic until the February Week and then produce short films to describe the Scottish Inventors that we have learnt about.

Due to Scots Week we were not able to finish our class readers so once again this week a book to read for pleasure will be sent home in the Home Learning bag. The bag will be sent home on Monday and should be returned on Friday for discussion and reflection. In the bag will be the weekly spelling challenge, book to read for pleasure, new P3 and P4 Rainbow Maths Strategies challenges for the orange band and please continue to use the Scottish Inventors Challenge Grid.
