Primary 1 had a wonderful time this afternoon with Donald from Wildside Nature.
As part of our topic of Scotland Donald, an experienced zoologist, delivered a fantastic workshop all about Scottish wildlife.
First we learnt about all of the animals that live in Scotland. Did you know we have beavers, eagles, and sharks!
We had the opportunity to get hands on with animal treasure, including a beaver skin, skulls and bones of animals and birds, antlers, feathers and shells – wow!
Outside, we put our learning into practice, building beaver lodges and moving like a peregrine falcon.
We had so much fun, thank you Wildside Nature!!
