What a busy start to the year!
Take a look at all the things we have been up to:
Primary 1 has been working hard on adding two collections together! We even started to write additions down! 🙂
Boys and girls especially like practising on IPads – these are some of the games they enjoyed:

We loved having Families came to play and learn together! 🙂

Primary 1 had fun at the local library and chose a book each to bring back to our classroom! We can’t wait to swap them soon and maybe even bring a book home!

Collaborative learning in literacy and gaining confidence with our tricky words:

In PE we started gymnastics and focused on carrying equipment safely. We practised various ways of travelling and making shapes:

Primary 1 are very enthusiastic about our SCOTLAND topic! We went to see Greyfriars’s Bobby!

Primary 1 did so very well making Nessie clay monsters!

We had a special visitor who told us all about Lunar New Year celebrations and customs!

Enjoying playing together!

We are excited about our trip to Edinburgh Castle in February

and are curious what Primary 1 chooses to focus on for our Science topic:

See you soon! 🙂
