Thanks to the parents who came into class on Friday to join in with our learning. It was great to have you in and your children were very proud to show you their fantastic pieces of work 🙂
Primary 3 have enjoyed a week of learning more Scots words, listening to well known stories read in Scots and learning about Robert Burns.
After hearing some of Burns’ famous poems, we attempted to write some poems of our own. As a class, we looked into Acrostic poems and wrote one about Scotland. The children did a great job presenting this at assembly to the rest of the school.
We will continue to learn more about Scotland in the coming weeks as this is our class topic for the term.
