Welcome to this Week in Review for Primary 2. We continue to work to access photos so please bear with us.
In literacy we have started to look at the ‘magic e’ pattern, starting off with a focus on ‘a magic e.’ We looked at how the words changed when ‘e’ was put on the end, for example ‘pan’ compared to ‘pane’. We worked on reading these words as well as understanding what they meant so this game was one of the activities we used to explore this pattern.
In our maths and numeracy work we started off having a look at subtraction and move on now to our multiplication skills. We are practising our times tables, starting with 2, and seeing how multiplication is linked to repeated addition and what this looks like.
We continue to explore animal habitats this week and enjoyed finding this quiz on Google Earth about animal sounds! We used a grassland habitat as inspiration to explore colour tones in our art this week, painting landscapes that we are really looking forward to share with you!
Lastly, a big well done and congratulations to our

Beauty
for being a Responsible Citizen and Effective Contributor in her excellent effort in all her work this week, helping out in the class and being very patient with others.
