Here is our first termly overview of the year, it will give a snapshot of what we are planning for learners in Primary 1 between now and the winter holiday.

We have been super busy over the last few days, as well as all doing our literacy and numeracy tasks we have been up to lots and lots more too…

Steph, our childsmile dental hygienist, came in to speak to us about brushing our teeth.

We played a new game on the smart board – Bud’s Number Garden – which helped us practice sequencing numbers, counting and recognising numerals.

We baked bread to enjoy at snack time!

We had great fun exploring our new blocks. We used the cylinders to make wheels for a car. The results were really impressive!

We cannot wait to share what we get up to next week!! 😊

Today we were very excited to share our new star of the week – Thalia!

Thalia received this award for showing respect to her friends and grown ups and being kind and helpful. Well done Thalia! 😃

Star of the Week!

The first star of the week in Primary 1 for the 2023/24 year goes to Amin! 

Amin received this reward for showing respect and being kind to others in class and for always being very polite. 🌟

Today we completed our class charter. Each of the rights links to our school value of RESPECT and we have created our roles to uphold these rights and show respect to our friends, our grown ups, our environment and, most importantly, ourselves.

Our roles say we will be safe, kind and gentle, we will listen, we will look after property and we will learn.

We look forward to showing you us practising these throughout our P1 year ☺️
