I hope you enjoyed playing your games for homework last week.
This week our spelling words end with a -y , making an “ee” sound.
Our core words are: bendy, crispy, dusty, empty, fussy, lumpy, messy, misty, nasty, rusty, smelly, sticky, very, grumpy.
In class we also thought of lots more words with this ending e.g creamy, fizzy, angry, funky, hilly, jolly, crusty, mucky, muddy, windy….
Can you think of any more at home? What do you notice about most of these words? (clue: are they mostly nouns, adjectives or verbs?)
