Hello everyone!
I hope you had a lovely break last week.
This week our spelling pattern is words that end in -ed, where the -ed is voiced as another syllable.
This video should help to clarify the difference.
Our core spelling words this week are:
tested, dented, dusted, ended, funded, grunted, handed, hunted, landed, lifted, listed, melted
The children also thought of these words in class:
defeated, created, posted, tasted, interrupted, salted, bolted, haunted, insulted, acted, reported, teleported, expanded, fasted, planted, wanted, invented, scented, rusted, toasted…. You can use these words in your spelling homework too if you like!
You can choose 2 activities from the grid below to practise:

For maths homework this week, please choose 2 activities from the grid below:

A reminder to everyone: homework is due back on Thursdays, unless otherwise stated (like a longer project). Please be aware that if it is handed back later then it will not be marked.
