James Gillespies Spring Fling









Spring Fling Concert

The ‘Spring Fling’ concert, Wednesday 16th March, at Marchmont St Giles, Kilgraston Road, starts at 7.00pm. This features the same instrumental groups as the Christmas Concert at the Usher Hall, with some soloists, junior choir, chamber choir and P6/7 choir from Preston Street Primary School.


James Gillespie’s High School Christmas Concert 2015

This concert featured pupils from James Gillespie’s High School and P7 choirs from its six associated primaries.
Items will include wind bands, string orchestras, clarsach and guitar ensembles, percussion ensemble, pipe band, accordion group, chamber choir and many various junior and senior choirs.

Repertoire includes Christmas items and also ranges from Scottish traditional to classical and contemporary music.

Open Morning – Saturday 5 November 2016 10am – 1pm – ALL WELCOME

Callum Skinner, former pupil and Olympic gold and silver medallist in track cycling, will formally open the  fitness suite at 11am which will be named after him.

There will be refreshments available (soup and home baking) from 10am – 12pm in our dining centre, and tours around the buildings by our Pupil Voice reps.
There will also be photo slideshows and clips from school concerts and shows in the theatre.
